National September 11th Memorial
New York, NY
Among the most meaningful projects of my career, I served as structural engineer of record for the custom-fabricated architectural parapets at the National September 11th Memorial at Battery Park in Manhattan. The parapets feature hand-folded bronze panels bearing the names of the victims — requiring precise stress analysis of both the bronze cladding and its stainless steel support structure. I managed the fabricator relationship, coordinated directly with the project architect and the 9/11 Memorial Committee, and oversaw all mock-up, fabrication, testing, and installation phases.
Confidential Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility

I served as Structural Engineering Manager on a new multibillion-dollar, large-scale semiconductor facility design-build project — one of the most complex and demanding assignments of my career. I led global structural design teams across multiple time zones, managed QA/QC and peer review processes, coordinated directly with client stakeholders and industrial engineers daily, and oversaw the development of early and long-lead procurement packages critical to keeping the project on schedule.
Las Vegas Monorail West Extension — Switch Structure
Las Vegas, NV
I served as design lead for the track switch structure for the Las Vegas Monorail's 2.1-mile West Extension. I co-developed the connection details, led the structural design and analysis, and created the drawing layouts for the construction documents. I also co-authored the design reports for the full extension and was directly involved in the QA/QC process for the expansion design drawings.
Aberdeen Proving Ground Headquarters Renovation
Aberdeen, MD
I provided structural engineering services for the renovation and retrofit of a large-scale Army headquarters facility — a steel moment-framed addition and framing retrofit of an existing maintenance building, as well as a new steel braced frame superstructure for an adjacent training building. The structural design addressed current code requirements and stringent Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) standards while maintaining operational continuity throughout construction.
Freeport-McMoRan Morenci Phase 3 — Solution Handling
Morenci, AZ
I led structural engineering services for the Phase 3 expansion of one of North America's largest copper mining operations. My scope included the design of all supporting structures for an 80,000 GPM raffinate and PLS pump station, offsite pipelines, sulfuric acid storage tanks, and injection systems. I authored design and construction specifications and maintained close coordination with client representatives and on-site contractors throughout construction.
Newport News Shipyard — Facility Certification Program
Newport News, VA
Over multiple contract cycles, I provided structural engineering and program management services in support of the US Navy's facility certification program at one of the nation's premier shipbuilding facilities. My work encompassed ultrasonic testing program development, structural member naming conventions compliant with Military Standard 1625C, strength analysis of caisson gate members, floating dry dock assessments, and mooring hardware analysis — ensuring continued Naval vessel certification across the shipyard's dry dock facilities.
VA Medical Campus Renovation & Seismic Retrofit
Leavenworth, KS
I provided structural engineering services for the renovation and seismic retrofit of both wings of an existing 122-year-old medical supply warehouse at a VA Medical Campus. The design addressed the significant challenge of introducing a new dedicated load path and lateral resistance system to meet current wind and seismic code requirements — including ASCE 41-17 — without compromising the building's historic architectural character or disrupting the warehouse's ongoing operational needs.
Las Vegas Raiders Stadium — Facade Mock-up Structure
Las Vegas, NV
I developed the conceptual structural design for the approximately 30-foot tall mock-up structure used to validate the curtain wall assembly for the then-under-construction Raiders Stadium. I reviewed the architect and engineer of record's design drawings, developed FEA proof-of-concept models, sized the primary structural steel members, and oversaw connection and foundation design. I also provided construction administration support and advisement through the permitting and construction phases.
MTA East Side Access — Madison Yard
New York, NY
I provided structural engineering services across multiple work packages at MTA's East Side Access project at Madison Yard — one of the largest transit infrastructure projects in US history. My scope included the design of deployable blast-resistant covers for four wellways, analysis of existing retaining walls and adjacent structures under crane surcharge loading, and structural assessment and modification design for a temporary canopy sheltering the raised bore platform.
